Caledonia Pride were dismissed 72-47 at Nottingham Wildcats in the Women’s British Basketball Trophy.

Siobhan Prior top scored with 19 points and Ashley Harris pocketed 16 points and collected 20 rebounds.

The Scots lost the opening session 20-12 and were overpowered in the second, Wildcats scoring 26 points against seven.

Pride rallied in the third, winning it 16-10 but Wildcats edged the final quarter 16-12 for a comfortable win.

They move on to next Saturday when they play Manchester Mystics in a crunch clash to decide who progresses from the pool.

Bart Sengers, Pride’s head coach, must regroup and his highest points scorers on the day were Tricia Oakes with 16 and Natalie Bastian with 12.
