Morton Fishery near Livingston (close to the Lizzie Brice Roundabout on the A71) provides sport for anglers from as far afield as Edinburgh and Glasgow.

The fishery, which is open seven days, regularly boasts catches of fine specimens of brown trout, rainbow trout and tiger trout.

Established in 1983 as a commercial still water, Morton Reservoir combines natural bays and contours providing exceptional conditions for a wide variety of insect life. It is renowned for its sedge flies.
