On Thursday 22 June 2017 Edinburgh ladies gathered together to raise funds for Radio Forth’s Cash for Kids.
150 ladies joined Forth 1’s Arlene Stuart and Micky Gavin for a sell-out day at the races but all in the comfort of the city’s Principal Hotel on George Street.
The Royal Ascot Ladies’ Day featured a champagne lunch, betting advice from champion tipster Kenny McLeod, and a performance from singer Jack Robertson.
Now in its sixth year, the annual Cash for Kids Ladies Day event has raised more than £65,000 for the charity, with all proceeds helping local children who are disadvantage through poverty and who are sick or disabled.
