Chris Ramsey from Aberdeenshire will take on an epic rally challenge this month by becoming the first person to enter an electric vehicle (EV) in the 2017 Mongol Rally.
Raising funds for WWF Scotland, Chris, his wife Julie and their Nissan Leaf, will start the 10,000 mile journey on 16 July 2017 from Goodwood Race Course to Ulan-Ude in Siberia, via Mongolia.
They will be crossing mountains, desert and the steppe of Europe and Asia with around 340 other petrol or diesel cars.
