Shane Filan will perform music from his brand new album Love Always at the Festival Theatre that evening. He will include all his popular hits in a wide-ranging set list which will have you dancing in the aisles.

Shane said :” Love Always, is a collection of some of my favourite classic love songs. It’s an album I’ve wanted to make for a long time. For me there’s nothing quite like singing an amazing ballad and this album is full of them.

“Some of the song suggestions came directly from my fans because they would always say to me, we would love to hear you sing this song. So I decided to make a list of all my favourite love songs and then put them together on one album. The hard part was narrowing it down to those on the album.

“There’s also a few original tracks on there, some that I’ve written myself. It’s always amazing to get into the studio and see what we can create. I can’t wait for my fans to hear the album. It has been a long time coming.”

The album includes a couple of cover versions with the N*Sync track This I Promise You and Bryan Adams’ Heaven Tonight on there.

The Irish singer songwriter was a member of Westlife until the group disbanded in 2012.  Born in Sligo in the northwest of Ireland Shane worked  in the family owned café before he achieved fame with Ireland’s best-loved boy band, notching up 28 platinum discs and selling 40 million records worldwide.

Westlife cemented Shane’s position as one of the UK’s most popular male solo artists with his own Right Here Tour in 2016 when fans were left wanting him to put on another tour. Shane was keen to oblige and the idea for the Love Always 2017 tour was born.

Now you can get up close and personal with this most popular of Irishmen in the capital this September!

His new album Love Always goes on sale from today.

Tickets are on sale for the Love Always Concert at the Festival Theatre priced from £27.50 plus booking fees.
