India’s attendance is particularly important this year, with the Indian band invited to mark the 70th year of Indian independence and the India—UK Year of Culture.The Indian Band, appearing with an array of colourful dancers, marked the 70th year of Independence Day one day early, greeting international visitors from France, Jade (7) and Milan (10), with sweets.
