Hibs Head Coach Neil Lennon was delighted with yesterday’s  victory over Ross County but especially delighted with the clean sheet, the first of the season in the league  for his team.

After three successive league draws, Hibs secured all three points in Dingwall thanks to an early Paul Hanlon strike which meant that Lennon’s men leapfrogged Rangers and Motherwell into fourth place.

Hibs dominated the game and were deserved winners although keeper Ross Laidlaw did well to save from Alex Shalk in the latter stages.

After the game Lennon told BBC Scotland: “It got a bit frustrating at the end because we missed some very good chances to put the game beyond Ross County and at 1-0 up you are never really comfortable.

“We were very good today and good value for our win in what was an important result in the context of our season.

“That gets us back on the right path and keeps us in the top six, which is really important for the club and it will be a good week now.

“I’m especially delighted with the clean sheet as it’s the first for us in the league this season and Ross Laidlaw only really had one save to make.”
