Brian McLaughlin has named a 20 man Scotland Under-17s squad, for two international challenge matches away to Wales this month.

The squad includes two Edinburgh based players, Kane O’Connor from Hibs and Chris Hamilton from Hearts.

There are first call-ups for Lewis Fiorini of Manchester City and Aidan Fitzpatrick of Partick Thistle.

The squad features 13 Scottish FA JD Performance School pupils including a large number of players who played in the International Tournament in England last month.

The tournament will act as preparation for the Under-17 European Championship qualifying round in Estonia where they will play the hosts as well as Andorra and Denmark.
