Wine library in a new Edinburgh hotel

The boutique Wine House Hotel 1821 claims to be an innovative concept in hospitality and it opens on October 10.

Italian wine producer ZONIN1821 and Scottish restaurateur Sep Marini are behind the project which is located in Picardy Place.

The hotel is housed in a Georgian townhouse and it includes an elegant wine bar, a cocktail lounge, library, function space and four individually designed rooms.

At the heart of the hotel is the wine library, claimed to be a place of entertainment, knowledge and community designed by architect Claudio Silvestrin.

Guests can experience the Cru wines from ZONIN1821’s Estates offered by the glass in stylish surroundings with red marble from Verona, sleek lines and a warm wood.
