The event in Edinburgh’s Festival Square (and around the Famous Speigeltent) helps to raise awareness of homelessness, and saw 150 people enjoy live entertainment from Gus Harrower and Monkey Barrel Comedy Club, before they bedded down for the night with only cardboard and sleeping bags to shield them from the cold.

Pictured in Festival Square are City of Edinburgh Councillors (from left) Lesley Macinnes, Eleanor Bird and Kate Campbell (who is also the City of Edinburgh Council homelessness champion).

Around £50,000 was raised, which will go towards the Rock Trust’s front line services supporting young people who are at risk of or affected by homelessness.
