A 25-year-old man has been charged with assault at a nightclub on George Street.
The 22-year-old victim suffered serious facial injuries in Opal Lounge on the early hours of Sunday August 13 and was taken to St John’s Hospital in Livingston.
Officers have thanked the public for their assistance with their investigation.
The accused will appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on February 7.
