Hibs’ pair Ryan Porteous and Fraser Murray have been selected for the Scotland U19 squad for the upcoming UEFA U19 Championship Elite Round matches in Germany.

Both were selected by Donal Park for recent challenge matches, though Porteous missed out with first team duties and Murray through illness

Porteous has captained the U19 squad on several occasions and has been in great form in recent weeks, scoring against Kilmarnock at Rugby Park and helping Hibs to victory over Rangers at Ibrox.

Both starred in the Development Squad’s 3-2 win over Celtic on Saturday, with Murray providing the crosses leading to two Porteous headed goals.

The games are as follows.

Scotland v Germany, Wednesday 21 March, kick-off 6pm (local time), Am Bruchbaum, Lippstadt

Scotland v Netherlands, Saturday 24 March, kick-off 5pm (local time), Grosse Wiese, Arnsberg

Scotland v Norway, Tuesday 27 March, kick-off 6pm (local time), Am Bruchbaum, Lippstadt
