The 240 room city centre hotel on Baxter’s Place has a new boss.
The team of 55 who work at Courtyard Edinburgh will now be led by Grant McKenzie who has over 15 years experience of the hotel business.
The hotel has a fitness centre, a business centre and The Lantern Room restaurant with an outside terrace for balmy summer evenings.
Grant has worked at Macdonald Hotels, Malmaison and QHotels. He said: “I’m pleased to have joined the team at Courtyard Edinburgh. I’m relishing the opportunity to work in the heart of the capital – there’s a great buzz around the hotel.
“There’s a very experienced and driven team in place at the hotel, and I’m looking forward to working alongside them to improve the already high standards of service offered to our guests. My focus will also be on creating a first-class environment where members of the team can flourish and reach their full potential.”
The hotel is operated by independent hotel management company, RBH.
