Edinburgh cancer charity F.A.C.E. (Fighting Against Cancer in Edinburgh) is looking for old watches in any condition, with funds raised to be used for the benefit for patients and family affected with cancer.

F.A.C.E are being supported by  www.watchesforcharity.co.uk for this venture.

Any watches can be donated to Lora at the Oncology reception of the hospital who will arrange to be forwarded on or alternatively you can contact John McAulay at johnmac1790@sky.com and arrangements could be made to uplift them.

The watches can be working or broken, out of fashion, gents or ladies, digital or analogue, quartz, mechanical, branded or non branded or pocket watches.

FACE is a cancer fund established in 1990 and is based at the Edinburgh Cancer Centre of the Western General Hospital in Edinburgh.

The funds raised through FACE provide the “little things” that make a difference to patients and families who have been affected by cancer. FACE is run entirely by volunteers, who have directly or indirectly been impacted by cancer.

There are no paid members of staff and no offices to maintain.

This allows FACE to keep administration costs down to a minimum and maximise the funds that are available to provide help.
