Murrayfield Racers won back-to-back at the weekend as they continued their campaign in the Scottish National League.

The Capital combine edged Kirkcaldy Kestrels 3-2 in Fife after leading 3-1 early in the third session.

And they repeated that final score again on Sunday night at home to Aberdeen Lynx.

Elsewhere, Fife Flyers moved into second place in the 11-strong Elite League when they celebrated their 80th anniversary with a magnificent 7-2 win over Manchester Storm.

Dundee Stars were edged 3-2 after overtime at Milton Keynes Lightning while Glasgow Clan were thumped 8-1 at Cardiff Devils to record their third straight league defeat.
