Murrayfield Racers earned a weekend win double to maintain their recent fine form.

Tony Hand’s men eased to a 6-2 victory at Aberdeen Lynx on Saturday in the SRC East.

And Sean Beattie and Daniel Abercrombie topped the goal charts on the night with two each.

And, on Sunday, Ethan Reid scored two goals as the Edinburgh combine won 4-2 against North Ayrshire Wild in the first-leg of their Scottish Cup tie.

Elsewhere, Reece Cochrane scored in the final minutes at Dundee Comets to secure a 3-3 draw for Kirkcaldy Kestrels in the Stuart Robertson Cup.

And Stevie Adams netted a treble and Gordon Horne a double as Solway Stingrays stole Kilmarnock’s thunder with a 7-1 win in the SRC West at Dumfries.
