Pentlands Book Festival: tickets now released

As detailed in the October print issue of The Edinburgh Reporter the Pentlands Book Festival has another strong programme this year: ranging from poetry with Jackie Kay, via the rebel Thomas Muir, to the crimes and mysteries of Val McDermid and Josephine Tay.  There are talks on whisky, rucksacks, bosons, and botanical illustration; a walk along a radical road; local authors to inspire; and a fun quiz on them all.  As Miss Jean Brodie would say, it’s in its prime!

The PBF committee is pleased to say that tickets have now been released for all events – online on Eventbrite and in Currie and Colinton libraries.

You can find all the information you need on their website http://pentlandsbookfestival.org/ or in the flyers in the libraries and other select outlets.

Tickets are going fast for many events so don’t delay in making your bookings.  All events are free, except that you’ll pay for food and drink at the Scientific Supper, and to get in to Colinton Lit if you are not a member.
