Hearts owner Ann Budge has said any fan found guilty of what she described as ‘acts of violence’ will face an indefinite ban from Tynecastle.
Mrs Budge issued a statement on the official Hearts website and declared that anyone found guilty of damaging Tynecastle, or any other stadium, throwing objects on to the field or anywhere in the stadium or singing sectarian, racist or political songs or flying flags deemed to be of such nature would be banned.
Mrs Budge said: “We will not sit back and allow the reputation we have fought so hard to rebuild, be damaged by the mindless acts of a few individuals.
“My personal objective is to help make Tynecastle Park a stadium of which we can all be proud; the most family friendly stadium in Scotland; and the most supporter friendly stadium in Scotland. By working together, we can achieve these objectives.”
