Murrayfield Racers host an American touring team to bring the curtain down on their programme for 2018.

The Capital combine entertain Team USA Military on Monday at 4pm.
And the team contains the cream of the US collegiate league.

Their coach is Ed Courtenay a former Ayr Scottish Eagles and Sheffield Steelers star. He played alongside Tony Hand, Racers’ director of hockey.

Meanwhile, in the Stuart Robertson Cup, Racers thrashed Dundee Tigers 14-3 on Tayside with Callum Boyd Man of the Match.

And in the Elite League, Glasgow Clan let slip a 3-0 lead after Belfast Giants turned on the power to claim five unanswered goals between the 36th and 57th minutes.

Former Edinburgh Capitals star David Rutherford and Dustin Johner both scored doubles in the 5-4 win which keeps the Northern Irish side on top of the 11-strong Elite League.
