SAVVY house-hunters are being offered the perfect safety net for selling their current home by a leading developer.

CALA Homes (East) is giving buyers at any of its developments across the East of Scotland the chance to secure their next dream CALA home, but with the ability to sell their current home on the open market, safe in the knowledge that the homebuilder will act as a back-up buyer in the eventuality that your home doesn’t sell in time for your planned move.

It gives those selling their current home the chance to maximise the potential sale values without the uncertainty that typically goes with selling a home.

The Guaranteed Buyer service applies to anyone selling a home when reserving at any CALA development across East Lothian, Midlothian, Edinburgh and surrounds.

The Guaranteed Buyer service applies to any homes that are four months or more away from completion. It leaves buyers free to market their existing property at a price agreed with their estate agent.

If the property hasn’t sold by a back-up date CALA will buy the home at an agreed price, with the same legal completion date as the new CALA home.
