Edinburgh Monarchs say their post-season survey received the largest ever response since the first survey was undertaken in 2012.

And a club spokesman said that overall the responses were fair and positive.

The majority of supporters, he said, were satisfied with the quality of racing, enjoying the pace that matches are run and being enthused by the new Gold Membership and Blue Reward Card initiatives.

The range of 70th Anniversary celebrations were also a popular addition to the 2018 season.

The spokesman added: “Many raised the issue of the condition of the stadium at Armadale.

“This is a challenging matter however the club continues to work to improve this in conjunction with our landlords, within the limited resources that are available.”

Other areas for attention noted in the survey included speeding up admission to the stadium and extending the offering within the club shop. The spokesman said significant strides have already been made on these issues.
