Women in the Law UK, a charitable professional and personal development organisation with over 700 members, will host an event in Edinburgh later this week.

The organisation, founded in Manchester by award-winning barrister Sally Penni, aims to provide support for women at all stages of their legal careers and address the gap in the female representation in leadership roles in the profession.

The event is Women in the Law UK’s first Scottish event following several active years in Manchester and expansion in London, Liverpool and Leeds last autumn.

The launch will focus on the theme of “How to have confidence, clarity and connection in your career”.

Formal presentations by speakers including DWF Director Caroline Colliston will be followed by drinks and an opportunity to network.

It will take place at the offices of law firm DWF at 2 Lochrin Square on the evening of Wednesday 30th January at 5.30pm.

Attendance at the event is free, with voluntary charitable donations being collected on the night. Guests must, however, pre-register online here.
