A 42-year-old man has been arrested after Outlander and River City star Tam Dean Burn was stabbed in a street attack.
The 60-year-old actor had been speaking at an event at the Scottish Poetry Library on Saturday afternoon and was assaulted outside the venue.
He taken to hospital, but later released.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “At 4pm on Saturday, officers responded to a report of a 60-year-old man having been assaulted in Crichton Close. “A 42-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.”
