If you are planning to go to the Prague Fringe Festival then look out for Edinburgh’s own Kevin Gore and Bobby Nicholson who have been accepted to perform.

Kevin Gore hailed as one of the best songwriters in Scotland has recently written a song for Ken Buchanan.

Both are fierce independence campaigners with their songs making good use of their harmonious voices and covering Scottish politics and a range of social justice (or injustice) topics.

Recently Kevin played solo at the Lord Provost’s Burns Supper at Prestonfield, showing his versatility and appreciation for all things Scottish, including a depth of knowledge about Burns.

They have played at The Royal Oak during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in recent years, always to enthusiastic and sympathetic audiences who pack the room under the bar to hear their original music. (Quite what Nicholson will do with his Panda song now that Yuang Guang has had testicular cancer one can only imagine….) Accompanying their own material with a range of Celtic songs their songs of freedom are bound to get the Fringe audiences up out of their seats.

The Fringe programme will be here soon.

Kevin is also playing in Berlin on 16 March 2019 as part of the #Indy19 concert.
