The University of Edinburgh are organising an event next week to talk about artificial intelligence. This is part of a series of events on the same subject.

A panel of experts including broadcaster and writer Paul Mason and researchers from the University of Edinburgh will consider the ethical aspects of automation, examining whether the future looks set to be controlled by technology companies or whether AI will set people free from having to do dull or dangerous tasks.

We need to talk about AI: The Future of Work will take place at the University of Edinburgh’s Informatics Forum, Crichton Street, Edinburgh EH8 9AB from 6.00pm-8.00pm on Tuesday 12 March 2019.
