Taking over the National Museum of Scotland’s Grand Gallery, Build and Break invites the young visitors to unlock their creative spirit and, in the first section, BUILD IT – build magical structures with super-sized construction blocks.

Then head over to BREAK IT to be set loose on a huge pile of discarded electronics with a screw driver and a pair of pliers – rip old pieces of tech apart to discover what they are made of and learn which parts we might be able to reuse (under adult supervision!). Supported by the Royal Academy of Engineering.

Build and Break, part of Edinburgh Science Festival, is free and open until Easter Sunday!
