The Madelvic History Group are showing the clay heads created by local artist Kevin Dagg at North Edinburgh Arts next week.

Groups who nominated the individuals who are depicted are invited to take the opportunity of publicising their work in the community.

There will be films shown and photos exhibited to celebrate the lives of the six people chosen by their organisations and a buffet will be served.

The six are :

Granton and District Community Council nominated – Joan Turner

The Content Group nominated ā€“ Frances Durie

West Pilton Neighbourhood Centre nominated  ā€“ Betty McVay

Pilton Central Association nominated ā€“ Malcolm Chisholm

Pilton Equalities Project nominated ā€“ Tony Delahoy

Madelvic History Group nominated    ā€“ John Dickson

The history group have asked for material which could be displayed on 24 April to be sent to them.

Age Scotland, The Heritage Lottery fund and the local NW Edinburgh Partnership have supported this project.
