Edinburgh-based Jeff Hutchins is back at Fife Flyers next season as assistant coach and director of player development.

Todd Dutiaume remains as head coach and the duo guided the Kirkcaldy club to sixth position in the 11-strong Elite League last season.

Fife earned 66 points and finished only a point behind fourth and fifth-placed Glasgow Clan and Guildford Flames.

Edinburgh-based Hutchins, a former Edinburgh Capitals and Dundee Stars forward, said: “Todd and I have built a strong personal and working relationship over the last three successive seasons.

“I look forward to building around a strong core of individuals and, hopefully, we can continue to improve and take the next step up the ladder.”

Dutioaume said: “The last eight years in the Elite League have seen this team continuously move in a positive direction and we look again to push forward next season.

“After speaking with all of our players, we have a good number of key guys to form the foundations of a successful squad.”
