We recently told you the story of the Forever Young club at Carrickvale Community Centre which has had its council funding slashed.
Now they are getting into the online and social media groove and have set up a crowdfunding page here. If you have some spare funds they would really appreciate your help.
Chair Mary Murray has asked us to help publicise the page where anyone can donate to the cause – and they are having a tombola and sale during their lunch clubs this week too from 10.00am to 1.00pm.

The club caters for the elderly and socially isolated members of the local community and may have to close at Christmas this year unless they achieve their target of £16,000.
