Yes it sounds like a child’s book, but the story started with a walk on the beach today.

Albert is a Heinz 57 rescue dog who was found two years ago wandering the streets of Nicosia, Cyprus before being adopted by photographer Ian Jacobs and his wife Sally. He models to perfection the size of the giant gelatinous invertebrate.

They were all out for a morning walk along Portobello beach when they came across the huge jellyfish.

The jellyfish was alive earlier this afternoon when they returned to take photos of Albert with his discovery but thoughts are that it may not survive being beached due to the hot weather.
