The new Hibernian away kit is on sale from the club-shop today.

The purple top with narrow green stripes has proved immensely popular amongst the supporters and has already been worn by the first team during re-season friendlies.

The tops they are sold without the pre-printed ‘Hibernian Community Foundation’ logo which can be added for £5.00

All profits from that will go straight to the Foundation and will be used for community ventures.

Fans who prefer the strip without the logo can still donate to the Foundation.

The club have also launched an initiative which allows fans to donate a kit to a young supporters who otherwise couldn’t afford to buy one.

A statement on the club’s website reads: “We want to see as many people as possible in the new strip – proudly sporting our colours – but we know not everyone is in a position to buy a new strip or kit.

“Kits for Kids is a new initiative that lets you donate a strip or a kit to a young supporter. You’ll be donating directly to the Hibernian Community Foundation, who will ensure local youngsters can wear the strip and Foundation logo with pride.”

The opening Hours as follows for launch weekend:

Saturday: 9am-6pm

Sunday: 10am-5pm
