Hibernian’s Development Squad will take on Newcastle United’s Under-23s at the Hibernian Training Centre this afternoon.

Following the club’s decision to pull out of the SPFL Reserve League, they will instead organise a hand-picked games programme designed to boost the development of the young players.

Neil Redfearn’s second string will provide a stiff test for the contest which has a 2pm kick-off.

Admission is free but supporters will have the opportunity to make a donation to the Academy.
