David Guy is the new men’s hockey coach for ESM and he will also play for the club and helping out with under-16 matches.

He started his career with Inverleith as a five-year-old before joining MIM/Cala and then Grange and David won youth and senior trophies with all three clubs.

David has also played international hockey at several age-groups and he has coaching experience with East under-15 boys, leading them to three consecutive titles before taking over the under-16s where a further two titles were added.

He is now a fitness coach and specialises in fitness and lifestyle coaching for young athletes. He also runs hockey/fitness camps for senior school players.

New players of all abilities are always welcome and men’s training is on Thursdays from 7 to 9pm at East Fettes Avenue.
