A new Hotel Chocolat store opened at The Centre Livingston over the weekend.

There was a queue outside the new shop and those people who were there early were treated to some free samples of chocolate, drinks and cacao-infused Ice cream of the Gods which is exclusive to select stores.

The first 50 customers were awarded a special goodie bag.

Hotel Chocolat grows its own cacao in an eco-plantation in Saint Lucia aiming to connect the world of sustainable agriculture with top quality chocolate. They are also aiming to make their packaging 100 per cent reusable, recyclable or compostable within the next two years.

Ashley Bisland, Deputy Centre Director at The Centre, Livingston, said: “We are delighted to welcome the luxury chocolatiers, Hotel Chocolat, to The Centre, Livingston.

“There was a great atmosphere in the mall at the weekend to celebrate the opening which is another fantastic addition to the wide mix of retailers we have on offer at the shopping centre.”
