At the Radical Book Fair in November the author Richard Seymour will present some of the arguments in his book which is about social media.

Seymour is a socialist writer, broadcaster and critic. He asserts that the metaphor of Paul Klee’s The Twittering Machine – a bait to lure humankind into a pit of damnation – is appropriate for our addictive relationship with social media.

He asks what we are getting out of it and what we are getting into.

Richard Seymour is the author of numerous books, published by Verso, Pluto and Indigo Press, and his writing has appeared in Jacobin, the Guardian, London Review of Books and New York Times to name a few. He’s on Twitter (!) as @leninology

Sunday 17 November 2019 6.00pm to 7.00pm Assembly Roxy 2 Roxburgh Place EH8 9SU
