Civil Service Strollers are delighted to announce that floodlights have now been fully installed at Christie Gillies Park. The Lowland League club started their fundraising efforts for lights following changes to the licensing criteria that were introduced last season.

Contractors have been on site for the past four weeks to carry out the work to install them.

Club President, Russell Pryde, said “We are all thrilled that the floodlights have now been fully installed and are fully functional.

“This wouldn’t have been possible without the generosity of everyone who donated money to our appeal and the grant we received from the Scottish Football Partnership.“We can’t thank everyone enough for their donations.

“Also, I must say a huge thank you to all our committee and club volunteers who have spent endless hours down at the club over the past month helping us with various jobs around the club.

“We now look forward to our first game, where we can use the floodlights.”
