Arch White took these photographs outside Waverley Mall on Princes Street yesterday 16 November 2019 in the late afternoon.
He said : “First day of the opening of Christmas Market and Fun Fair and two hours after the market opened at 2.20pm, at 4.20pm the waste bin in Princes Street is overflowing.
“Is it beyond the Edinburgh City Council to organise extra bin collections during this excessively busy period when they keep boasting how they are bringing all the extra money from tourism and festivals into the city?”
