Glasgow Tigers have snapped up another former Edinburgh Monarchs rider to complete their squad for next season.

Australian rider Justin Sedgmen (pictured riding for Edinburgh) joins the club after being impressed by Tigers’ bosses.

The 27-year-old, who started his British career ten years ago, said: “The new owners have put a lot of money, a lot of effort into the track and into the facilities, and, with their promotion, they’ve set the bar a bit higher.”

Glasgow manager Cami Brown said: “Justin was a no-brainer on his average and I fully expect him to grow that comfortably.

“He’s experienced around nearly all the tracks we are going to and it’s great to have that mix of experience and youth in the team.”

Sedgmen joins countryman Connor Bailey in the line-up alongside English racer Craig Cook, American due Broc Nicol and Ricky Wells, a former Edinburgh captain, and Danish duo Ulrich Ostergaard and Sam Jensen.
