If you are already thinking ahead to summer or October then you should know about the Loganair sale which offers 3,000 free children’s flights.

There are now larger aircraft on the route between Orkney and Edinburgh and the discounted offer applies to families travelling dueing the school holiday periods this summer on these routes.

You can get up to two tax-only tickets for children under 12 who travel with a full paying adult form today until all seats are sold.

Kay Ryan, Loganair’s chief commercial officer, said: “Orkney and Shetland are becoming increasingly popular destinations with tourists and now families can take advantage of Loganair’s offer for children to travel fare free. That means an adult can take up to two children by paying just the taxes.

“It is also a great opportunity for residents in Orkney and Shetland to plan for a discounted visit to Scotland’s three biggest cities over the summer and October school holidays.

“We have limited the number of tickets to a total of 3,000, so the sale will end when all tickets are sold.”
