The lovely people at One Square would like you to join them for their special Bloom Gin Afternoon Tea which is served daily from 2.30 till 5.30pm. This prize can be claimed any time until 31 August subject to booking in advance, but The Edinburgh Reporter competition ends on 20 June 2014 at 5.00pm.

One Square on level two of the Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa is treating two lucky Edinburgh Reporter readers to its unique Bloom Gin Afternoon Tea experience.

Combining two quintessential British institutions – Gin and Afternoon Tea – this special experience is an exquisitely crafted celebration of summer. Rather than the normal tea or coffee, this delicious presentation comes with a perfect summer serve which features Bloom Premium London Dry Gin poured over ice, finished with colourful summer fruits and paired with Fentimans tonic water. This refreshing summer cocktail, served in a special balloon glass, pays homage to One Square’s collection of 52 gins.

OneSquare_Bloom-Gin_AfternoonTea_2The three main botanicals in the gin – honeysuckle, chamomile and pomelo – perfectly complement the tantalising selection of sandwiches, freshly-made scones and indulgent cakes on offer. Highlights include sandwiches served with heather honey glazed ham with Bloom gin jelly, fruit scones with golden sultanas soaked in Bloom gin which are served with Devonshire clotted cream and homemade pomelo marmalade, while the selection of cream cakes and pastries feature strawberry macaroons infused with Bloom gin.

A perfectly-refreshing summer treat!
